The Salah of Srebrenica is a novel set in 1995. The story traces the real life of an interfaith couple in the city of Srebrenica in Bosnia in the context of the massacre of the Muslim community members in the heart of Europe during the Balkan crisis. The novel narrates the love story of a Bosnian Muslim man with a Christian woman lost in the turmoil of ethnic violence and cleansing. It is the story of love, hate and intolerance in the name of religions. The story is set in the context of massacre of Srebrenica and its Muslim mass graves during the fall of Yugoslavia.
